The galvanized steel edging, initially specified as an off-the-shelf product with an estimated cost of £80,000, underwent a collaborative effort between HGP, the supply chain, and the site team to devise a more cost-effective solution.
Together, we engineered a 500mm freestanding edging divider, tailored to replicate the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the original specification.
This collaborative initiative resulted in substantial costsavings, bringing the final price down to £25,000, a fraction of the initial estimate.
