Foundations for a two classroom cabin block , accompanied by the development of an access road designed to accommodate emergency vehicles 2021 – 2022.
This site was at the rear of a specialist school with the only access via the specialist school entrance which presented a challenge in coordinating activities. Installed a piling mat, excavated and cropped piles, installed reinforcement steel and formwork in preparation for concrete pour The new access road was to the side and rear of the school.
To ensure environmental sustainability, the road was designed to be fully permeable.
We used a specialist product to safeguard localised tree roots – Green Fix Geoweb and filled the cells with angular stone to provide stability and support.
